BIG NEWS!!! Phantogram is back in full force. Gearing up for another LP (the first since 2009) and with this being the first new music from them since 2011, you better believe the whole world is stoked (they just don’t know it yet). So what you need to do is get your hands on a digital copy of this track. That means download this some way or stream it and put it on your system in your car. Now drive around a busy area and tell me that you don’t feel like the coolest cat on the block. This song has a sound that is appealing to all who have the chance to overhear it. The Lady Gaga-esque sound and driving bass are radio-ready so catch the wave that is Phantogram before it passes you by. Enjoy!

Okay, I know what you’re thinking: “hey, dude…yeah you…this video is full of some weird looking Brits.” Yes, I totally agree, but let’s focus on the music. The light, airy feel of this track doesn’t exactly make you feel like you are at sea, but rather on a beach cabana in the ’60’s, which is totally fine. Try not smiling when listening to this track and picturing a man with messed up teeth playing keyboards that are replicating the sound of an organ. It’s perfect and exactly what we need all the time! Enjoy.
In a world full of melodies that haunt us throughout our days, it’s nice to see some bands strive for the dissonance that intrigues us and leaves us wanting more anyway! This is such a song that does just that. The haunting beauty of this song is eclipsed by the words “Leaving me would leave me free to reach above now.” A song about moving on; the perfect emotion to have with the meaningless songs that surround us and don’t challenge us in the least to understand what is truly behind it. Get lost in the entrancing drums of this song and forget the past as we all move forward.
