Okay, I know what you’re thinking: “hey, dude…yeah you…this video is full of some weird looking Brits.” Yes, I totally agree, but let’s focus on the music. The light, airy feel of this track doesn’t exactly make you feel like you are at sea, but rather on a beach cabana in the ’60’s, which is totally fine. Try not smiling when listening to this track and picturing a man with messed up teeth playing keyboards that are replicating the sound of an organ. It’s perfect and exactly what we need all the time! Enjoy.

I’m not sure where I heard this, but this song really swept me up. Perhaps because it’s talking about love and jackets, two of my favorite things. Certainly, Sir is a two-piece chill, electro outfit from Boston. Currently their stuff is only available in Japan and England, but their 2005 release “TAN” can be downloaded from this guy’s SoundCloud. I love keys in the background throughout the whole song that put you into a trance as you let the dreamy vox take you into another world. Get swept up.
I truly wish it didn’t take me a couple months to find this guy. He’s straight from Liverpool and really promotes the music scene. Some of his former band members are touring and recording with him, which is why it’s not just a guy strumming on his guitar (even though you can find some mean unplugged videos on YouTube). He is in taking some time and stopping by LA this weekend as well. If you are in the area, he is playing at the Echo tonight and the Bootleg tomorrow. If you go tomorrow, you can see me! This crunchy, electronic track screams for radio airtime. It is soon to be gracing the airwaves behind T.Swift and P!nk in no time. For now, I feel like you have a couple solid months to listen to him before he explodes. He just released an EP as well and it’s streaming here.
