The Shins – Bait and Switch

To me, this song is just so much fun it just reminds me of a party in the 60’s. It’s so airy and even tropical at times. Given the subject matter, it seems a little odd to sound like such a fun song. I respect how unique it is and that it stands out on an album with a song such as “Simple Song” which just demands radio airtime. By the way, I really do love that song, its sooooo darn catchy. Otherwise, the whole album is pretty darn good and from a great record label from a great city.
